Everything you need to know about the conference venues
Venues
The main conference will be held at the University of Sydney’s Camperdown campus. You can find details about specific venues in the map opposite. All venues have access ramps and/or lifts.
Research Student pre-conference (13 December)
The pre-conference event for research students will be held at the Parramatta campus of Western Sydney University. There will be a bus provided from the University of Sydney (close to recommended conference accommodation) to the Parramatta campus on the morning of 13 December.
Getting to the University of Sydney’s Camperdown campus
From Sydney airport
Take the airport train to Redfern train station via Central station (see “by train”)
Alternatively, take a taxi to “The University of Sydney, City Road entrance, Camperdown”
By train
Catch a train to Redfern train station, and then take a 10-minute walk to the Camperdown campus.
By bus
From the city
For stops on Parramatta Road (closest to the Main Quadrangle and Wallace Theatre) catch routes 412, 413, 435, 436, 437, 438, 440, 461, 480 and M10 from George Street or Railway Square.
For stops on City Road (closest to the Law School) catch routes 422, 423, 426, 428 from Castlereagh Street or Railway Square.
Via cross routes stopping on City Rd
Route 370 runs between Coogee and Leichhardt.
Route 352 runs between Bondi Junction and Marrickville.
Route M30 runs between Mosman, George St in the city and Sydenham.
